For years, I did everything the manifestation gurus told me to do. Vision boards. 5×55 method. Moon rituals. You name it. And yet… nothing moved. I had no breakthroughs or sudden blessings, just vibes and disappointment.

Until I changed three things.

These shifts didn’t just speed things up. They made my manifestations actually work. If you’re tired of surface-level tips, this one’s for you.

1. I Stopped Manifesting From a Place of Lack

This was the biggest block I didn’t even realize I had. Every time I tried to manifest, my energy was secretly screaming:

I don’t have this.
I need this.
Please, universe, fix my life.

I was in a state of lack, so my manifestations weren’t coming in because the universe mirrors your state, not your words.

So instead of affirming:

I want abundance.

I started embodying:

I expect abundance.

I shifted from hoping and wishing to knowing that what I want is already here.

How I changed it:

  • I stopped checking for signs every 5 minutes
  • I celebrated tiny wins like they were big manifestations
  • I acted like my future self now

The moment you stop chasing, everything you want starts chasing you.

2. I Rewired My Subconscious (Not Just My Thoughts)

When you manifest, you are attracting what your nervous system believes is safe.

I realized I could affirm all day, but deep down, my body was programmed for struggle and survival. So, I was still playing it small.

So I worked on subconscious reprogramming:

Because if your body thinks success means danger, you’ll self-sabotage every time. Your manifestations don’t get blocked by the universe; they get blocked by unhealed patterns.

3. I Took Aligned Action (Instead of Waiting for a Sign)

This one hurts, but it’s the truth. You can’t sit on the couch waiting for the universe to door-dash your dreams.

Manifestation consists of intention + embodiment + action. That’s why I stopped asking the universe for signs and became one.

If I wanted success, I:

  • Posted even when I was scared
  • Invested in myself
  • Said yes to uncomfortable opportunities
  • Moved before I felt ready

The universe responds to motion, and once I started moving, everything changed.

Why Your Manifestations Might Not Be Working (Yet)

If you feel stuck, ask yourself:

  • Am I secretly focusing on what I don’t have?
  • Do I feel safe receiving what I’m asking for?
  • Am I actually showing up for my desires?

Manifestation worked when I stopped trying to hack the universe and started becoming the version of me who already has it.

You attract what you are, not what you have.

So ask yourself:

Who would I be if this already worked out?

Then move like them.
